Wangechi Kainga-Kariuki is a certified Sustainability Professional and development specialist with over 20 years of experience across the development, public, and private sectors. With training in Organizational Development, she brings strong expertise in ESG, sustainability
reporting, sustainable finance, and program development and management — equipping her to help organizations embed sustainable practices that drive both impact and transformation.

She has advised governments, development partners, and private sector actors on ESG integration, sustainability strategies, and sustainable investment approaches. Her leadership in program design, capacity building, and policy dialogue has enabled institutions to move beyond compliance toward meaningful, long-term impact.

As a B Leader under B Lab Africa, Wangechi leverages her organizational development lens and cross-sector experience to support companies and social enterprises in their journey to becoming B Corps — embedding purpose and sustainability into business processes and building resilient, inclusive, and purpose-driven enterprises across Africa.
