Lucy Doggett Kamero is a program and project manager with over ten years of experience working with SMEs and micro enterprises across Africa, from working with the UNHCR to support refugees, to starting enterprises in South Africa; through to her current work designing and implementing training programs to help SMEs grow and scale their businesses in East Africa and building community and mentorship groups to support entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of business.
Her experience spans the humanitarian and development sectors from Rwanda to Canada, production management in media with the BBC, business development in Uganda, through to conservation and environmental activism in Kenya. She believes that enterprise and entrepreneurs have the power to effect great positive transformation in their communities and lift people out of poverty.
She has lived in Kenya for almost four years, is passionate about her faith, her community and conservation in Kenya.
