He is the Founder of Animarem, a purpose-consultancy focused on transforming business as a force for good, which has also served as the regional representative of the global B Corp movement in Southern Africa.

Tom was previously CEO at African conservation-tourism icon Singita, and Group Managing Director at communication group Publicis Machine. Internationally, Tom serves as the lead for B Tourism (a community of travel B Corps) in the Middle East and Africa, as well as a global Brand Innovation and Strategy Ambassador for the Transformational Travel Council.

His own journey to purpose has seen him guiding many of the world’s top brands and destinations to growth. He is passionate about the emerging narrative of purpose-driven leadership, as well as connecting people to powerful ideas that accelerate business and lead sustainable change. He consults to the public, private and non-profit sectors.
