Dipalesa believes that business can be a powerful vehicle for building just and regenerative economies. She is especially inspired by Africa-born businesses that have embodied the principles of shared value, sustainability and responsible stewardship long before these became global buzzwords.

For nearly two decades, she has worked across start-ups, corporates, and non-profits, helping bridge innovators, funders, and communities to unlock meaningful, lasting positive impact. As a B Leader, Dipalesa now partners with business leaders and their teams to help them design, streamline, amplify and report on their impact. She also mentors emerging entrepreneurs through the University of Johannesburg’s Venture Mentoring Service (a partnership with MIT), supporting young innovators who are building Africa’s next chapter of impact through their start-up and spinout companies.

As former Head of Social Impact at Tshikululu Social Investments she led the division that designed, implemented and measured initiatives across 25+ social investors who invest more than R600 million annually in initiatives driven by 300+ non-profits and social entrepreneurs working across communities in South Africa.
She has also managed capacity building across 15 African science funding councils and led technology driven transformation across township-based informal retailers in South Africa.

Dipalesa holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours in Information Systems) from the University of Cape Town, a Masters in Development Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand, a PRINCE2 Practitioner
certification and an ISB® Advisor ESG certification. She is an AVPA Impact Investing Fellow, former Co-Chair of the Impact Investing South Africa Foundations Workstream (2022–2023), and alumni of the 2024 American
Express Global Leadership Academy.
