Carolyn Millward, is the Chief Financial Officer at a large Hospital in Abu Dhabi, bringing over two decades of expertise in senior finance leadership within the health care sector across the Middle East and Africa. As a dedicated chartered accountant, Carolyn is committed to achieving sustainable financial performance by enhancing systems and processes at the nexus of health, people, and planet. Her extensive background includes pivotal roles in private health care institutions in South Africa and Oman before her move to the UAE in 2012, where, she held executive level positions at some of the largest healthcare facilities in the UAE.

In her role as the Executive Sponsor and Co-Chair of Sustainability at her organisation, Carolyn spearheads initiatives that drive continuous improvement in sustainability, efficiency, and cost- effectiveness.
Additionally, she serves as the Executive Sponsor of the SSMC Employee Health and Wellbeing Council, showcasing her commitment to fostering a healthy and supportive workplace culture.

Beyond her professional achievements, Carolyn is passionately dedicated to empowering the next generation of female professionals through mentoring and coaching. Carolyn is undergoing a career transition away from corporate Finance, into Sustainability and is hoping that becoming a B Leader will help her to maximise impact and influence more organisations
to drive sustainable and ethical business.
She will be available in future as a consultant to support businesses in their mission to become B Corps and to drive the Triple Bottom Line.
